Hello,

My name is Himanshu Guru. I have 5 plus years experience in social sector. My


professional carrier begun with TISS, Mumbai. They had initiated three year skill building
project named National University Students Skills Development Program (NUSSD) in 7
states with 35 colleges of 17 universities. I was managing this program in Agra college
and St. John’s College Agra, Uttar Pradesh. My duties were to mobilised candidates of
these colleges for the program, ensure the training is running smoothly and maintain
attendance, assessment and project works.

Some of the course were industry speci c thus I had to nd trainers with domain
knowledge. During my tenure I conducted 2 national level and 3 state level Training of
Trainers (TOT) in Agra .At the national level trainers from the 17 universities participated in
5 day long workshop. During this I took care of logistics of the trainers and made sure
the workshop is conducted smoothly.

When my counterparts conducted such TOT at their respected location my job was to
nd trainers with domain knowledge and convince them to not only conduct the courses
but travel to other states for the training. To source trainer for introduction to
entrepreneurship course I liasoned with department of MSME and other industry union in
Agra

After completing the NUSSD project I joined Sarthak Educational Trust Delhi. Here my
main job was to nd train candidates and nd new employers who could hire Di erently
Abled People (DAP). Do successfully onboard the employer I had conduct the
sensitisation workshop with team. In many cases the management is excited for creating
inclusive environment the mid management or the colleague with who they will be
interacting daily are not so thrill. In such scenario sensitisation workshop helps in
clearing their queries and misconceptions.My job also required to conduct a job mapping
study as and when required . In this we will analyse each and every job role available in
the organisation then submit a detailed report with . This study is conducted to asses
what are the job roles available in an organisation and what all jobs cab be done by a
DAB after applying some work place solutions. AON, Dr Lal Path Labs, and Reliance
Distribution centre are few organisations where I have conducted job mapping study.

My next assignment was with Tara Livelihood Academy its a commercial wing of
Development Alternatives Groups. The project cater towards skilling and employing
young females. I was monitoring the functioning of two centre one was located in Mayur
Vihar Delhi and other was located in Faridabad , Haryana. Both TISS and Sarthak ran
course free of cost but here the organisation would charge a fee for the training and
placing the candidates.

Currently I am working with Magic Bus India Foundation in Pune. My pro le is to skill and
employe youth between the age group of 18 to 25. I have monitor a team of ve people.
