I perceive this opportunity as a big milestone in my career development. I am
greatly indebted to Nagindas Khandwala College for striving this internship
opportunity for learning and professional development. I would thank the college
for providing such kind of opportunity for students to broaden their perception on
how the real world looks like as well organizing the whole internship program
and its effort to make sure that the whole internship program to achieve its
desired goals.
I sincerely thank In-charge Principal Prof. Dr. Moushumi Datta, Vive-Principal
Dr. Mona Mehta, for their valuable support. I would like to thank BFM
coordinator Ms. Meha Mandawewala for supporting and guiding me. I express
my deepest thanks to my Mentor Ms. Poonam Popat for giving necessary advices
and guidance to carry out my Internship Report.
The internship opportunity I had with LAABH Foundation was a great experience
of learning. My deepest gratitude and special thanks to my Ms. Felcy Fernandes
for giving me an opportunity to work in her organisation and to mentor and
allowing me to carry out my project at their esteemed organization.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This is an internship report that I had done with LAABH Foundation for a period of
more than 45 days. In this internship I was able to gain practical knowledge and I also
got to understand the perspective of people for the welfare of the society.
The internship opportunity I had with LAABH Foundation was a great chance for
learning and professional development. Therefore, I consider myself as a very
fortunate individual as I was provided with an opportunity to be a part of it. I am also
grateful for having a chance to meet so many wonderful people and professionals who
led me though this internship period.
This report stresses more on my work experience. The Report further includes details
about the industry, the company, its vision and mission, the role which I played in the
organization and also the challenges faced while interning.
Different task I had performed in the organisation such as Checking emails regularly,
Preparation of Budget reports and project proposal, assist senior staff in day-to-day
activities, communicating with people and many more
It also gave me the knowledge of my internal strength, weakness and what are the
future opportunities which I can get and the threats which I will be facing in the
future. It also taught me how to face the challenges in future.
This internship that I completed made me understand my true possible
capabilities. Working in an NGO has helped me explore my skills. It has made
me aware about the importance of time and working in a team. Before my
internship my communication skills were not that good but due to this work
experience, I have improved in my communication skills I can now communicate
with people easily. The things that we learn in our lectures are just a small part of
what you are expected to do in your organization. Today having theoretical
knowledge doesn’t stand you in good stead unless you know how to apply that in
a practical world. This Internship made me realize the importance of practical
knowledge one should have.
