1. Are you in favor of political set up in our country today? Why or
why not?
Not at all.According to what I've seen, today's political setup
is very different from those in the upper echelons. In today's reality, our country's economy has only gotten worse because of those people who only love to spend money on themselves. They spend the people's money on some rubbish fake sand, and it is not acceptable to me since it almost cost a lot of money and even borrowed some from another country. The government's track record regarding human rights and democracy is undoubtedly disturbing. It has run roughshod over human rights, its political opponents, and the country’s democratic institutions to other countries. The combination of the Philippines’ powerful presidency and the malleability of most of its political institutions is resulting in significant democratic backsliding.
2. Soon, the candidates will be campaigning for their political career.
Which do you choose, the TRAPO (Traditional/Conservative politicians) or Liberal politicians? Why?
We are aware that the election is approaching, and
candidates for all positions are beginning to plan their campaigns. However, if I were to vote, I would unquestionably support liberal politicians over others. Why? As you are aware, TRAPO will do anything, including dirty things, to win elections. How could we vote for them if we doubted their ability to lead our country and if their intentions were not pure from the start? That is why I prefer to vote for liberal politicians because they are either more trustworthy. They have the potential to affect change in our country, in my opinion. They put a priority on the separation of powers and the importance of the state.
