1.) What do you think among the instruments of Questioned Document Examination
which is common and uncommon? Why?

Answer: For me, the common instruments of the questioned document

are first the Comparison Microscope. Because if we say Comparison
Microscope there are two microscope in which they are connected side
by side or there is an optical bridge that can analyze or compare the
Standard Document into a Questioned Document and then Also the
Ultra Violate Lamp is one of the common instruments of question
document examination because there is some Questioned Document that
the mark or symbols is invisible or partially visible or needed to trace
first but with the use of Ultra Violate lamp, it can be easy to be trace.

And for me, the uncommon instrument was the Table Lamps with
adjustable shades or a Gooseneck lamp, because if we say gooseneck
lamps it is usually used in reading or writing if you want to focus on
writing or reading then you can use gooseneck lamps especially when
you wrote in e dark place gooseneck is very useful, but what we are
talking about here is a Questioned Document for me gooseneck is
uncommon. Uncertainly we can use the gooseneck lamps in other
different ways.

In addition, all of those instruments and apparatus used in the

Questioned document are useful and helpful all of them have their
uniqueness when it comes to examining the questioned document.

2.) Is it necessary that all the techniques in conducting QD Examination be undergone?

Yes or no, Why?
Answer: For me no, because when it comes to examining a questioned
document it is not necessary to use all of the techniques because they
have their uniqueness or there is a time or a right time that you can use
each of them. It is impossible that in one case of questioned document
you can use all the techniques. For example, there is a case of a
questioned document that needs a Photographic Examination, then
from the word photographic all you need to do is to use a camera to
captured the standard and questioned document.

You cannot use an Ultra Violate examination because there is no such

faded ink or the signature or it can be seen in our naked eye or there is
no such retouching, patching then you cannot use a microscopic
examination. But so on and so forth all of these techniques are very
useful in many different ways in conducting question document
examination.
