Objetivos conceptuales

1. Reforzar conceptos disciplinares y aprender vocabulario mediante la lectura en segunda


lengua (inglés).
2. Utilizar estrategias de lectura para mejorar la comprensión de textos en segunda lengua.

Objetivos procedimentales

1. Habituar a l@s estudiantes a la realización de ejercicios sencillos en segunda lengua.


2. Practicar vocabulario acerca de las infancias en segunda lengua.

Objetivos actitudinales

1. Favorecer la comprensión y la expresión de textos cortos acerca de las infancias en


segunda lengua.
2. Ampliar su visión del mundo, abriendo la mente de l@s estudiantes a otros idiomas y
realidades, con actitud de respeto.

VOCABULARY

a. Read and understand the meaning of the following terms:

Moral consciousness: Adjetivo-Sustantivo (Adjective-Noun)


/ˈmɒrəl ˈkɒnʃəsnɪs/ Conciencia moral (The standard we use to judge
whether or not our actions are ethical)
Example: A man with high moral consciousness wouldn’t threaten others.

Upbringing: Sustantivo (Noun) /ˈʌpˌbrɪŋɪŋ/ Crianza


(The care and training of young children or a particular type of such care
and training)
Example: The children had had a harsh upbringing.

Agent: Sustantivo (Noun) /ˈeɪʤənt/ Agente


(A person or thing that acts or has the power to act)
Example: This experience forms a child to become an agent of social mode
of actions.

Striving: Verbo (Verb) /ˈstraɪvɪŋ/ Esforzando (To


make strenuous efforts toward any goal)
Example: Even though she was the best swimmer on the team, she goes
on striving to improve her swim times.

Ontogenesis: Sustantivo (Noun) /ɒntəˈ dʒɛnɪsɪs/ Ontogénesis


(It is the origination and development of an organism (both physical and
psychological, e.g., moral development))
Example: In ontogenesis, gene according to certain when, the spatial
order has the choice expression.

Pester: Verbo (Verb) /ˈpɛstər/ Molestar


(To bother persistently with petty annoyance)
Example: She constantly pesters him with telephone calls.

Act: Verbo (Verb) /ækt/ Actuar


(Behave in a specific way)
Example: The child has no inclination to act in other way.
