How To Change UWP Application Tile Assets

Introduction
The purpose of this Guide is to explain the user the easiest method to Change Application Assets
without Bootloader unlock or Uninstalling the app.
Application Tile assets means the visual images used in apps to display in Tiles, App list & in Splash
Screen.
BEAWARE : This Guide is solely on how to change Tile assets, means it won’t explain any manifest edits
like changing Name, Tile color, splash color and such….
Preparations
If you are looking for the new fluent design tile assets to change, you have a better option.
You can download PC Mods of the most In-Built apps which has the fluent icons included from the PC
Mods Channel.
Download the assets for your application from above link and place them in different folders.
> Wait for it to load the data about every package installed in your device.
When done, it will display a list of all the packages of your device.
> Find and click on the package you want to change assets.
Choose “Icons”
NOTE
You can change Assets of any apps using this method except ;
To change their Assets, check the “How to Customize System Application Assets” heading
click “Browse” to choose the folder which has the assets of the app you select.
> Select the folder using the File picker which opens after clicking “Browse”, then the Assets change will
start, wait for it to complete.
> When the process is done, it will show the end dialog.
Restart the device, do the same for any other apps except for the ones mentioned above.
Since the script need to connect to telnet server, you need to Set-UP CMD in your W10M Device.
> Click on the “SAC.wutz” script file which you can download in “Preparations”, and it will open in W.U.T
Click “Run”
Click “Fluent” if you wish to have Fluent Icons of these apps from W10/W11
Click “Custom” to select your own Assets to set as the App’s Assets
It’s just to select the System app you want to change the Assets, or select all of them and change with
your selected Custom Assets.
> If you chose “Fluent”, then it will display “Changing Icons, Please Wait…”
> Then when the Changing Icons is finished, it will state it with a in-app message.
When it booted back, you will see the Assets you choose applied to the System Apps mentioned above.
Additional Notes
To change App’s Assets, your phone need to be Interop Unlocked.
To Change System Apps’s Assets, your phone should have the CMD Injected in addition to Interop
Unlock.
