Activity Guide and Evaluation Rubric – Task 4 Talking about your job.
1. Activity Description
The student will be able to explain a viewpoint experience about his/her job, linking
phrases with fluency, self-confidence, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a video and in
an oral practice developed with the tutor and partners.
The activity consists of:
An oral practice activity in which the student has to discuss with his/her partners the
answer to the situation about his/her preference job.

Look at the following answers as examples:
-If I could have any job, I think I would like to be an ambassador. I think this
because I enjoy visiting other countries and meeting and interacting with other
people.
-I think the most important job I have had was working at a library. I believe this
because I met many interesting people at this job.
Situation: If you could have any job in the world, which job would
you choose, an ambassador, an engineer, a big lawyer, a chef or
any other, explain?, What has been the last job you have had, it
was important for you?

Send the link to your video in the collaborative forum.
In the initial information environment, you must check the agenda out to verify
the opening and closing of the task.
In the learning environment, you must check out and study the online content.
Enter to the forum and participate with your video, besides send the audios giving
answers to the oral practice. You find all the appendixes there.
In the evaluation environment, you must upload a Word document with the
screenshots of evidences of your attendance to the practice session, your audios and
the link of the video required in the guide.

All the steps must be organized in the template you find as Appendix 3 – Template
for the final task #4 Talking about your job.
All members of the group must participate with their contributions in the
development of the activity.
Before submitting the requested product, students should check that it meets all
the requirements mentioned in this activity guide.
Please keep in mind that all individual or collaborative written products must comply
with the spelling rules and presentation conditions defined in this activity guide.
Regarding the use of references, consider that the product of this activity must
comply with APA style.
In any case, make sure you comply with the rules and avoid academic plagiarism.
You can review your written products using the Turnitin tool found in the virtual
campus.

Low level: The student pronounces the words like they are
written, he/she presents bad intonation, for that reason, the
message that is transmitted is not clear. The student doesn´t
present the oral practice.

criterion: to what he/she explains.
