Title: Power for Power-less: A Hydroelectric Generator for the Frequently

Interrupted Power Sources of Rural People

Topic: Hydroelectric Power Source for Rural Areas

Problem/Gap:
1. Frequent power interruptions towards rural areas
2. Reliable second source of power other than the main sources of power that we currently use.
3. Droughts can affect the water supply for the generator, making it not work any time sooner.

Objectives:
1. To create a prototype that can provide electricity with the help of water sources as main
medium for creating power source.

2. To Achieve stable electricity for rural areas that are frequently affected by power
interruptions.

3. To aim for storing back up power in times of emergency and disasters approaching.

Scope and Limitations

This study is to focus on the Hydroelectric Generators towards the people living in rural areas who
experience frequent power interruptions in their rural area. Recent research and studies will be used for
the research as references to find a better solution for a second source of power, and what to use during
calamities and emergencies.
