As a teenager

Her name is Diana Frances Spencer, but she is also known as Lady Di and the rebel princess and she was
born the 1st of July of 1961, into the British nobility and grew up close to the royal family on their
Sandringham estate. Diana was educated at West Heath Girls’ School, where she was regarded as an
academically below-average student, having failed all of her O-level examinations. Diana was a talented
amateur singer, excelled in sports and reportedly longed to be a ballerina.

Prince Charles was under pressure, and he needed to find a wife, and in order to gain the approval of his
family, any potential bride had to have an aristocratic background, could not have been previously
married, should be Protestant and, preferably, a virgin. Diana fulfilled all of these qualifications.
Buckingham Palace announced the engagement on 24 February 1981.

WEDDING
The wedding took place at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Wednesday 29 July 1981 before 3,500 invited
guests and an estimated 1 billion television viewers around the world.

Diana was the first Englishwoman to marry the heir to the throne since 1659. Upon her marriage, Diana
became Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales and was ranked as the third most senior royal woman
in the United Kingdom after the Queen and the Queen Mother.

CHILDREN
The Prince and Princess of Wales had two children, Prince William of Wales on 21 June 1982 and Prince
Henry of Wales (commonly called Prince Harry) on 15 September 1984.

Break up of Marriage with Prince Charles

Princess Diana was very liberal and didn't pay much attention to the rules of the royal family. For
example, he approached people, even danced with John Travolta. Prince Charles was very jealous and
cheated on her with Camille.
Also, Diana suffered a lot in her marriage. At Princess Diana first appearance, Prince Charles said she
was a little chubby, after that she struggled with an eating disorder called bulimia.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were separated on 9 December 1992; their divorce was finalised on 28
August 1996. The Princess lost the style Her Royal Highness and instead was styled as Diana, Princess of
Wales. However, since the divorce, Buckingham Palace has maintained that Diana was officially a
member of the Royal Family since she was the mother of the second and third in line to the throne.
Diana started dating Dodi Fayed, the son of an Egyptian billionaire.

And Charles started dating Duchess Camille, in 2005 they got married.

AFTER ALL:
Diana instead of being sad, she started her own projects, for example, doing charity work, and is
credited with considerable influence for her campaigns against the use of landmines and helping the
victims of AIDS.

the Princess of Wales was the first high-profile celebrity to be photographed knowingly touching a
person infected with the HIV virus.
DIANA´S DEATH:
Shortly after midnight on August 31, 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales—affectionately known as "the
People’s Princess"—dies in a car crash in Paris. She was 36. Her boyfriend, the Egyptian-born
socialite Dodi Fayed, and the driver of the car, Henri Paul, died as well.

the driver lost control and crashed into a pillar at the entrance of the Pont de l'Alma tunnel.

Dodi and the driver were pronounced dead at the scene. Diana was taken to the Pitié-Salpêtrière
hospital and declared dead at 6:00 am. (A fourth passenger, Diana’s bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones,
was seriously injured but survived.) Diana's former husband Prince Charles, as well as her sisters and
other members of the Royal Family, arrived in Paris that morning. Diana’s body was then taken back
to London.

Reasons why she was death

1-Because she was follwed by the papparazzis and the driver was positive in alcohol and drugs(
that’s the principal)

The are a lot of people, who are convinced that the royal family planned her death, because:

- She broke the royal code multiple times

- Parented her children in her own way, not the “royal” way
- She chose her own outfits and jewerly
- Prince charles wanted to marry another woman, but he couldn´t as princess diana was still
alive.
- There was a total of 17 cameras along the route that diana took, none of them “were
working”
- The royal family didn’t aproved her boyfrind because he was muslim
- The ambulance that came to Diana that night was ordered to take her to a hospital that was
45 minutes away even though there was a hospital that was five minutes away.
- It was believed that she was pregnant
- She also knew of her death because she wrote in her diary saying she had a feeling that
something was going wrong, and something invooving a car accident
