your answers in the space provided.

1. If you were given a chance to design your community immersion

program, what activities would you propose?
Answer:
If I were given a chance to design my community immersion program, I
would like to propose the following activities for certain reasons. The frst is a
literacy program for children. Education is very important to children.
Literacy development is a vital part of your child's overall development. It's
the foundation for doing well at school, socializing with others, problem-
solving, making decisions, developing independence, managing money, and
working. They must get fully educated, well-disciplined, and well equipped
for them to be ready to face the real world when they grow up. The children
in the future, and if the children are not well equipped I don't think our future
will be good and progressive. In this program, I will encourage my friends
and other youths to volunteer to teach youngsters and help educate them
because it is not only the teachers who can teach, we can be also a teacher
in our way.
Second, the program would be a feeding program. This program aims
to reduce the number of malnutrition in my community. I would like to
propose this program as I see that many children are not attained the
standard weight. This could at least help our community battle malnutrition. I
would like to cooperate with the youths to our leaders in our community for
this program.
The last activity that I would propose is the 'handicraft for sale
program'. As we know when the pandemic struck, a lot of people had
fnancial problems. This program aims to promote indigenous raw materials
in handicrafts and expose the handicraft skills of individuals. This is not only
for youths but also for adults who want to earn from their crafts. They could
market their crafts through our diferent platforms like Facebook. This would
have a great part-time for everyone in the community. This program, I think
would help the people of my community as they socialize and help the
economy by patronizing our products.

2. How would you relate your classroom experience to your community

immersion as an
NSTP-CWTS 2 student?

Answer:
I can relate my classroom experience to my community immersion by
involving, participating, and socializing. In the classroom, I always get along
with my classmates, participate, and allow myself in group activities. I
always get learning and learning every passing by as the day is new. I don't
let myself isolate or become introverted, I let myself be involved in every
activity we do in the classroom. Through involvement, I get the chance to
know my classmates, their interests, and hobbies and I make a big circle of
friends. What or how I am in the classroom is the same as outside of our
school, the so-called community immersion. I socialize, get involved and
participate in every program and activity that my community implements for
the development and a cause. Through our learning from the school
particularly in the classroom, as a student, we could be able to distinguish
the community problem that needs to be solved. With the experience of
community immersion, we are allowed to take part with other people who
may assist us to undergo certain changes that will make us aware and
responsible citizens.
As a student, really in the classroom help us develop our student habit
of doing community works enabling us to be more socially attached and to
appreciate more the variety of culture in every community. As to the
community immersion as a whole, it helps us students in personal growth
and transformation. It ripens our maturity and perspective toward
community involvement.

1. What did you learn from your recent immersion in the community?
Answer:
My experience during the community immersion teaches a lot on me. I
learned to become independent and face the responsibility being tasked to
me. Last week in my community area, our leader of the youths encouraged
the other youths and adults to do tree planting as an activity because the
recent issue about the situation of our planet. I was glad that I was part of it
because I get the the chance to get involved in such activity particularly
helping to repairing our planet. I also get the chance to help address such
environmental concern in our society. By that, I learned to value the unity for
the same goal and that was to save our mother earth. I learned that it is not
just getting exposure when you get involved in any immersion in our
community but I learned that to be a responsible citizen that I also have a
duty to participate and get involved as part of my contribution for the
development of our community. Because of engaging in such activity I am
aware that there are a lot problems in our society that needs to address
immediately. The good thing in my experience was that I am more conscious
and aware of what’s happening around me.
So that’s it, my learning from my recent immersion in our
community have a great impact on me as I have a lot of realization is after
me and because of that, I would like to engage more in diferent activities
because aside from that it is fun, you can have the chance to expose
yourself on diferent communities concerns and issues.

2. If you were to re-design the community development plan, what

would you propose?
Answer:
If I were to design a community development project I would like
to suggest an "Integrated Community Development Project". I would
like to point out social development in our community. Many people
are living in poverty and farmers most of them have faced many
problems with rice production due to low yields from natural disasters
and support poor agricultural strategies. Moreover, those who have
more children and less land for housing and farming, have been in debt
every year. There are some areas in our society that lack nutritious
food, sanitation, water supply, and a good understanding of being in
good health. This project will focus on helping orphans, the disabled,
the poorest students, the elderly as well people at risk by providing
efective training in agriculture, health, well-being governance, climate
change, job creation, and various businesses are deliberately
established to make our people able to make better money and living
conditions.
The main objectives of this project are for children and adults to
improve their food security and nutrition through access to agricultural
production and marketing; children and adults will have access to
clean water, sanitation, and hygiene with good construction, water
training for sanitation, and health education; children and adults will be
trained in vocational training and employment to be successful in
running and running a business; all people in the community will
experience good governance and ideas and processes and climate
change processes in their daily work including local, ofcial authorities
and informal committees and community-based organizations.
