How will you apply prudence and frugality in using natural resources at home, in school,
and in your community? Cite a situation where these values can help address
environmental problem.

Nature is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us for it sustains our daily needs in
order to survive. It is not just for us humans but also for all the living things that exist. Each one
of us has a responsibility to be an agent in making our environment clean and safe place to live
in. But what can we do to contribute in maintaining and preserving our environment for the next
generation? And how will we apply prudence and frugality in using natural resources at home, in
school and in the community?
As an individual, I can apply prudence and frugality in using natural resources at home
by conserving water. I will use a glass whenever I brush my teeth, the used water from laundry
can also be reused in cleaning other things and watering the plants. I will conserve electricity by
turning off the lights and other machines if not in use. I will be responsible with myself and my
action to maintain cleanliness at home. In school, I will throw my garbage in a proper place, I
will help in the beautification of school by cleaning our school surroundings and I will also
engage in school activities and symposium related on how to preserve and maintain our
environment clean. In the community, I will actively engage in barangay programs and activities
especially in addressing environmental problems such as tree planting, and clean up drive.
As a student, I will become an advocate of being responsible and execute proper behavior
to help coping up with environmental problems. Together, we can create a significant impact in
our environment even just in a simple way like; practicing proper waste disposal, cleaning our
surroundings, conserving energy and water and by avoiding harmful actions that can cause issues
to our environment. And also we should not be a factoring building dirty surroundings,
landslides, flashfloods, deforestation, and pollution, depletion of natural resources, global
warming and climate change that can cause ourselves in diseases and worst, death.
We should be responsible individuals in maintaining our environment clean- preserving
its beauty, and conserving the natural resources. We should protect and take care of our
environment to maintain its sustainabilityof life and needs not only for our own sake and other
living organisms that are living in the present but also for the sake of our next generation.
