Question: 1 Sketch the waveform of Vi, VD and ID for the half wave rectifier circuit as shown in
fig. 1. Input wave to the circuit is sinusoidal signal of frequency 60 Hz. Consider the following
conditions:
(a) If P-N junction diode is ideal.
(b) If P-N junction is made up from “Si” (VT = 0.7 V).

Question2. For the circuit shown in fig.2 determine the output voltage. Also sketch the waveform
of output voltage.

Question3. Determine the value of output voltage V0 for the networks shown in fig. 3 (a) and (b).
Also, draw the wave form of V0.
