Science and Qriosity May 13th and The quiz was held over 2 rounds. The
Technology Quiz 14th prelims were held on 13th May and Finals on
14th May. 4 teams qualified for the finals
which turned out to be an interesting affair
but one team simply outclassed all the
other ones.

Weekly art prompts Grafica May 20 Grafica has started posting a prompt every
on Instagram week on Instagram, to encourage students’
artworks. The time interval changed to
bi-weekly when the academic semester
started.

Raise the Curtain : Curtain Call 22 May Curtain Call had successfully organized a
Workshop vibrant, one day workshop on theater, "Raise
the Curtain" on 22 May 2022(Sunday). It was
a one day long workshop with various
activities in between.

Wallpaper Shutterbug 29th May- Shutterbug, the photography club of IIT

Photography 8th June Palakkad organized an online theme- based
Competition photography event with themes are Night,
Abstract, Monsoon, Warped Vision
photography.

Design Dash - 3 day Grafica 27 - 29th May Grafica had conducted a three day online -
design challenge design challenge, where participants were
provided video tutorials on design projects
each day. Many participants submitted their
own versions of these designs.

Informal session on Shutterbug 28th May Shutterbug, the photography club of IIT
DSLR Palakkad had an informal session with the
students interested in learning more about
DSLR and its features. The session was
conducted by one of our seniors, Mr. Alfin
Jaison.

Offline Auditions Vadya 29 May Vadya had conducted offline auditions for
the first year students and other batch
students who missed online auditions . 14
students were selected.

Logo making Curtain Call 4 June Curtain call called in students to give their
competition entries for the new logo of Curtain which
encompasses all the qualities the club
stands for.

Cajon session Vadya 27 June Conducted a session for learning cajon in

the auditorium Ahalia campus. The session
was conducted by the core team members
Akhil Mv and Eshwar Prasad. They gave
guidance on how to generate and various
beats. At the conclusion of the lesson, they
invited the students to the stage and gave
them the chance to try it out while also
guiding them.

Editub-The photo Shutterbug July 31st Shutterbug, the photography club of IIT
editing competition to Palakkad came up with an innovative
7th August competition designed for students to learn
editing. Firstly, raw pictures were collected
through members of the club, and every
week two photos will be sent to the
students of which they have to submit an
entry after editing one of the photos.

Unveiling of new Curtain Call August 7 New logo of the club was introduced. The
logo designer of this logo was Yash Mittal from
B21. It encompassed elements if cinema and
dramatics.

Open Mic Vadya July 15th Open mics are very crucial for beginners to
showcase their hidden talent and give a
brilliant opportunity to those who have
stage fear and are hesitant to perform in
front of a group of audience. Thus, Vadya,
the music club of IIT Palakkad, has
successfully organized an open mic and
witnessed amazing participation.

Copy Cat: Curtain Curtain Call July 23 Curtain Call, the dramatics club of IIT
Call Reels Palakkad has organized Copy Cat, a short
Competition video-making competition. This is a 2 stage
competition, the two stages are mutually
Exclusive where students have to make
short videos to bring out their acting skills.

Sketch It Grafica July 26 Grafica, the design and art club of IIT
to Palakkad has organized a still life sketching
August 7 competition. The event is to be conducted
online. Participants should choose a still life
object as a model.

Creative Writing Akshar July 17 Akshar, the literary arts society of IIT
Competition to Palakkad has organized a creative writing
24 July competition with the title - ‘eduAction’
where students are given an opportunity to
express their thoughts, more specifically on
student life and Indian education system.

Movies and TV Qriosity July 9th Qriosity, the quiz club of IIT Palakkad have
Series Quiz organized a Movies and TV Series Quiz for
movies and tv series enthusiasts. The
competition was held virtually and has
witnessed great participation.

Editub-The photo Shutterbug August 21st Shutterbug, the photography club of IIT

Reelsic week-3 Vadya July 28th- Vadya, the music club of IIT Palakkad has
August 15th started a short video-making event and has
successfully finished week 3 of its edition on
august 15th

organized an Independence day quiz for on
15th of august. The competition was held in
in-person mode and witnessed great
participation.

patriotic dance performance.

Open Mic: Vadya 31st August Open mics help students to showcase their
Ganesh Chaturthi hidden talent and give a brilliant
opportunity to those who want to perform
in front of an audience. Vadya has
organized an open mic on the special
occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and has
witnessed great student participation.

Dance Sync to 31st August The club members gave a dance

performance - Beat performance as part of the Ganesh
Ganesh chathurthi Chathurti festival celebrations.

Thiruvathira Sync to September On the occasion of Onam which is the

performance Beat 4th harvest festival of Kerala, the club put forth
the famous Thiruvathira Kali for the
students and faculty of IIT Palakkad.

Cultural Exchange EBSB 21st October A cultural exchange event was conducted
Event between the states of Gujarat and Kerala.
The audience was entertained and informed
through presentations and ethnic
performances from both states. The
performances included an ethnic dance
form and a folk song.
