 TEACHING AND LEARNING
Simulation based education is the
pedagogical approach of
providing students with the
opportunity to practice learned
skills in real - life situation.
Students of grade 3-5 experienced
an inquiry based learning
through Gizmos, a highly effective
way to build conceptual
understanding.
Creativity and innovation provide
a deeper understanding of concepts.
Teachers and schools, employing a
creative, experimental form of
teaching, develop thinkers who are
capable to explore their varied
interests utilizing their own
strengths. At JSSPS, we celebrated
creativity and innovation day
where, our student are in a system
of education that fosters and
cultivates creativity among
students in order to achieve success
outside the classroom. Students
thoroughly enjoyed the activities.
 Event
The election campaign for the “Student
Council” for the year 2022-2023 was held
on 19th April, 2022. Our Event Manager
Ms. Gwen Dickson was in charge of this
well-organized event. On the day of the
event, candidates nominated themselves
to stand in the election for the council. The
election campaign began with the
candidates giving the class a brief insight
about them and how they would like to
carry out their role if given the
opportunity.
Every year, Earth Day is
celebrated on 22nd April at
JSSPS to remind the students of
their duties towards ‘Mother
Nature.’ As a part of Social
Science education "Go- Green"
initiative was taken to engage
the whole school community in
making a difference. Earth Day
was celebrated through
educational and action-oriented
activities that were fun.
