to a fine point at each end. They are both triploblastic animals with bilateral symmetry and
protostomes which exhibits spiral, determinate cleavage.

2. Differentiate a free-living from a parasitic habit. (2 points) Answer:


Free-living species inhabit marine and freshwater environments, as well as the soils and
sediments of all of the various types of land biomes. While Parasitic roundworms live off
of their host and can cause disease in the various types of plants and animals they
infect.
