Introduction:

The covid 19 pandemic in 2019 made all Filipino families suffer because of this
harmful virus. Reason to lose their job where they get enough money to sustain the
daily needs of their children. Which made it a burden to provide the Physiological
needs of their standard of living, these basic needs must meet by a person to
survive. These include food, water, clothing, and shelter.

All strands in senior high school are affected by the circumstances brought
by the pandemic. Wherein, many automotive learners are struggling to meet the
daily requirements in school, paying the contributions and fees, and lastly buying
expensive parts of vehicles required for their specialization. The closure of
educational institutions affected more than 70% of the student population. It
becomes possible by studying the state of their operational and financial activities,
identifying problems, and exploring opportunities that can optimize their financial
position. The activity of the Automotive strand had a significant impact on the
stability of the student learner's situation, the financial stability may lead to
negative fluctuations.

According to Heide E. Jones from Urban Health students experienced high

rates of financial instability due to the pandemic. The majority (81.1%) reported a
loss of household income, and a half (49.8%) reported worries about losing
housing. High levels of food (aPR = 1.4, 95% CI 1.2, 1.6) and housing (aPR = 1.3,
95% CI 1.2, 1.4) insecurity were the strongest predictors of financial instability
which affects their capability to meet the standards of a certain school. Household
and personal experiences with possible COVID-19 symptoms were also associated
with the general increase in the prices of goods or the need for increased economic
services. Addressing student needs at public urban universities requires an
integrated holistic approach that targets urgent economic needs related to the
impact of COVID-19. Students who become affected need assistance services from
the government as well as educational opportunities to be able to continue their
studies.
Research Gap

The research problem of this study is about the financial crisis experienced
by the automotive learners brought by the impact of Covid 19 pandemic that
affects their situation.

Goals
The aim of this study is to determine the impact of COVID-19 that affects
the financial stability of the learners in Matalam High School. To determine the
appropriate action on how to combat the instability of the learners regarding their
financial situation.

Objectives

 Determine the impact of COVID 19 to the financial stability of students.

 Know the insights of the learners on how they cope up the challenges of

pandemic.

 Identify the factors of COVID 19 that affects the financial stability of the

learners.
