MODEL OF COMMUNICATION

My own communication model is a teacher – student communication in an online/

modular learning system. The teacher serves as the sender and the students as the receiver. The
sender is a person who sends the message, the source, and starts the communication. The teacher
will start by sending lessons in a Microsoft office form and discussing lessons to the students.
The lessons or the information coming from the teacher will served as the message. The lessons
will be sent or deliver thru different flatforms chosen by the teacher, it can be thru messenger,
Edmodo, google classroom, google meet or zoom meetings. These flatforms are the channel or
medium that used in delivering the message. After sending and discussing the lessons, the
students received the message. The students will study and analyze the message in a best way
they can. After analyzing it, they will give feedback. Feedback could be positive or negative
depending on how the student analyzes the lessons. The students can give feedback by
submitting activities, quizzes, reports and exams. These feedbacks will be submitted to the
teacher directly to the school or by any flatform they both agreed with. The noise or noise
barriers in this kind of communication are the unexpected noise from the neighbors during online
classes, slow internet connections and personal issues that can cause lack of focus.

MOVIE REVIEW

Movie title: The Unforgivable

Brief summary: Ruth Slater, has been released from prison on the crime of murdering a cop
she claimed instead of her younger sister. The first thing she wanted to do was to find and
see her sister but she did not know what to do first because it was in the law or in the
agreement that she should not approach her. During her visit to their old house, she met the
new owner who happened to be a lawyer. At first, she was very hesitant to tell who she is
because the usual impression is not so good. Most of the people doesn't treat Ruth Slater
fairly. Upon telling the lawyer if who she is, the lawyer, who has a good heart, even if
helping Ruth Slater is against his wife, he still helps Ruth. John Ignam, the lawyer, was able
to negotiate the adoptive family of Katherine Slater, sister of Ruth Slater and Ruth Slater,
but the result was not good. Imee, Katherine’s sister, overheard the conversation of her
parents, leads her to the letters of Ruth Slater which makes her want to approach Ruth
Slater. Meeting Ruth Slater, wreaks havoc on Imee when she is kidnapped by one of the
cop’s children who was killed. Katherine Slater doesn’t have a clear memory of Ruth
Slater. At the piano rehearsal, Katherine has a visual of her sister. Imee was saved by Ruth
and thru the help of Liz Ignam, the police arrived at the scene. At the kidnapping scene,
Katherine and Ruth Slater recognized each other.
 REVIEW

This is the very first Sandra Bullock movie I have watched, I must say that Sandra Bullock gives
justice to the character she was portraying. With her looks and actions, you can see her desire
and despair to see her sister. I can also feel her struggle to get back to her life after being in
prison for long years and being judged by the society or by the people around her. Regarding the
story, it is about sacrifice, second chance and reconciliation. A family who has someone in
system or in jail due to accidental murder can relate. The society should learn to accept a person
that was released from prison especially if that person was very kind and truly regretted what
happened. The ending of the story is very emotional and heart-breaking. About the director, the
director makes sure that all the actors will portray their roles effectively. Make sure the story was
well-plotted. The plot twist in Ruth Slater’s confession to Liz Ignam is unexpected. I expect that
Ruth Slater will reveal the truth to her parole officer or to John Ignam, Liz Ignam is my least
choice. All in all, the movie is a wonderful story.
