The main challenges and opportunities are empowering people, improving ethical behavior,
helping employees balance work life conflicts and improving customer service.

2. What are the four managerial functions in human behavior in the organizational and explain
each?
Planning- To make a decision about the direction of an organization, the planning phase must
begin with analyzing the environment. The context gives a manager a point of reference for
improvement, opportunity, and learning from past mistakes.
Organizing - process of assembling and assigning the human, financial, physical, informational,
and other resources needed to achieve goals.
Leading- stimulating high performance by members of the organization. This function is getting
members of the organization on board with your plan.
Controlling- installing processes to guide the team towards goals and monitoring performance
towards goals and making changes to the plan as needed. Control does not always mean limited
what the organization can do by having a hand in everything.

3. Why managerial skills are important to the organization?


In these skills the managers enable to become a good leader to motivate their employees for
their better accomplishments. It makes more help to the company potential.

4. What is Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and why is it important?


The Maslow’s hierarchy it’s a model for understanding the motivations for human behavior. It is
important because these include physiological needs, safety, love and belonging.

5. What is motivation and its role?


The motivation is the result of a person's attempt at fulfilling five basic needs: physiological,
safety, social, esteem and self-actualization.

Organizational behavior analyzes the effect of social and environmental factors that affect the
way employees or teams work. The way people interact, communicate, and collaborate is key to
an organization's success.

The challenges of organizational behavior that most companies face include overcoming cultural
and ethnic differences, improving productivity, hiring employees that fit into the organizational
culture or who can improve it, and helping employees to find proper level of a work-life balance.

Employee motivation drives the quality of work and boosts performance in an organization.
When organizations keep their employees motivated, production can be done without
interruption.
