Problem Statement:
 Install virtual machine software.

 Install 4 various nodes over VM (Windows XP, Windows 7, Linux, and

Windows Server).

 Apply basic networking (use IP as per your university ID) and sharing
polices.

 With the help of window server, we need to apply various polices to all
nodes or network.

Example:

 User access system (Add user name as per university ID)

 Block various sites

 Restrict the memory and software installation access

Make a guidebook, add all steps with proper steps and screenshots.

Solution:
Procedure:

1. Install VMware Workstation Pro 16 on you PC to run the virtual machines.

2. Download iso files for the virtual machines Windows XP, Windows 7,
Windows Server, and Linux (Ubuntu).
3. After the following iso files have been downloaded, Setup the virtual
machines and play them on the VMware Workstation Pro.
4. From VMware network settings, change the network to a different switch
for each virtual machine.
5. Configure the IP addresses of each of the nodes by changing network IP
configuration to Static IP addressing.
6. Ping the nodes to ensure that the connection has been established.
7. Apply Network Policies using Windows Server.
