INTRODUCTION On Saturday, 23 April 2011, 46 students of Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory Science from Unikl Mestech have visited Rumah Anak Yatim Darul Izzah which located at Kampung Teras Jernang, Bandar Baru Bangi,
Selangor. About 8 lecturers from unikl mestech have accompanied the students there.

This programme is organised by the student of Bachelor of clinical laboratory science semester 4 in order to complete their Community Health subject. Besides that, the purpose of this programme is to encourage student to apply all their knowledge which has been learned during class in real situation. Darul Izzah consists of 30 orphans include primary and secondary school. All of them are boys and Ustaz Salahudin bin Mohamed is the warden of the hostel. There are also volunteers who assist in office matter and food service. In this programme, there are many activities has been done. The activities can be seen in the tentative programme in next page.

The gotong-royong activities are such as cleans the outside of the hostel, library, musolah and study room. The activities have been done in indoor and outdoor games are futsal, carom, checker and scrabble. Health talk is delivered by Muhammad Salehin bin Suib.

RECOMMENDATION (IMPROVEMENT)

The time given for this programme is not enough. It needs to prolong so that more activities can be done and the orphans can enjoy the games.

The activities also need to improve and more interesting. It need to suitable with their age.

The health talk session also need to be improved. The talk need to be easy to understand because the audience consists of children. They need easier language for them to be understood.

CONCLUSION As conclusion, this programme has been successfully done by students of Bachelor of Clinical Laboratory semester 4 in given time even though there are some problems but it can be solved. Lots of thanks to the advisor, Mr. Ahmad Najib Hasan for his guidance and support in order to accomplish this programme. Thanks also to Mestech lecturers for their strong supports. Besides that, lots of appreciation for Darul Izzah and the orphans for their full cooperation. I hope programme like this can be done again next time.
