Introduction to Philosophy and Human Person

A narrative report

It has been shown that spending more time with trees and green spaces
reduces the amount of stress that we carry around with us in our daily lives. Planting more
trees helps to maintain healthy soils and humidity levels in the air around the world. As for
the start I have select a healthy mango tree that can successfully survive in my selected
location which is in our front yard. I have dig a hole in a flat surface area using a shovel. The
width of the hole can easily accommodate the roots of my mango tree.
After the hole digging part I have proceed on planting the tree. The first
step I did was getting the roots from the cellophane where I had put it temporarily. Then, I
moved the loose soil inside the hole so the roots can rest on the solid ground. After it was
position, I made sure that the root flare is just visible above the soil line. The last part was
filling the hole back with its original soil and tamping it lightly.
After planting I proceed on making a plant guard for my plant. The first
thing I need was cutting branches into sticks with equal length. Then, I sharpened the edge
so that it can easily pierce to the ground. Next I proceed on placing the sticks around the
plant. At last I made sure that the placement of the sticks were stable to guard the plant.
Afterwards I proceed on the last part of my tree planting, which is the naming part.
Giving your plant a name solidifies that it’s here to stay, that you are in it for the long haul. I
name my plant mugiwara inspired from my favorite anime onepiece. It is a hat of a boy
who seeks freedom. I find it meaningful so I have decided to name my mango plant after
it.
