Working Experience

1. Chemistry Operator (May 08, 2022- Continuning)

SS Power I Limited,
2x660 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Thermal Power Plant

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Responsible for controlling operation Condition according to instructions and procedures

total water treatment plant including pre treatment (Coagulation & Flocultion Tank, Daf Tank &
Gravity filter), Desealation plant (UF, SWRO & BWRO) & DM plant (Cation exchanger, Anion
exchanger & Mixed bed).
 Responsible for controlling operation Condition according to instructions and procedures
hydrogen generation unit (Green Hydrogen).
 Responsible for controlling operation Condition according to instructions and procedures
chlorination unit.
 Responsible for controlling operation Condition according to instructions and procedures
waste water treatment plant including Effluent Treatment System, Oily Treatment System,
Sewage Treatment System & Coal Treatment System.
 Check and control the field situation by doing inspection and field visit, to ensure system and
process.
 Ensure chemical Dosing storage tank level are maintain, make up solution and top up as
necessary. 
 Properly Dosage Chemical if needed in every dosing pump.
 Assists Chemist Laboratory Team for Sampling (water sample Collection) to maintain good
condition of water. 
 Report to Shift in charge the condition operation of plant.
 Responsible of the shift handover regarding correctness and sufficiency of the shared
information during the shift changeover.
 Responsible for overall safety and implementation of the PTW (Permit-To-Work) system
according to instructions and procedures within his/hers designated process area. 
  As authorized person for preparation of PTW (Permit-To-Work) and associated documents,
on field implementation of isolation. 
 Participate to implement the policy of quality, safety & health and environment within the
company.

Achievement:
 Commissioning of Raw Water Pretreatment System(Coagulation, Flocculation, DAF & Gravity
Filter) 900m3/h, (265m3 /h*4) UF, (155m3 /h*3) SWRO, (130m3 /h*3) BWRO, (90m3 /h*2) DM
PLANT, Hydrogen Generation Plant (5Nm3 /h*2), Chlorine Generation Plant (160m3/h*2),
Waste Water Treatment Plant & Sewage Treatment Plant.
 Commissioning of (2089 Ton/h*2) Super Critical Boiler & (660 MW*2) Turbine.

2. Plant Chemist ( July 1, 2019 – May 07, 2022)

HF Power Limited 113 MW,HFO Fired Power Plant (Co-Gen.)

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Develop, direct, monitor, analyze, and maintain the Plant Chemistry program.
 Responsible for Operating & Maintaining process control of Water Treatment Plant (UF,RO&
DM), Hypochlorite Plant, Waste Water & Sewage Treatment.
 Resonsible for Boiler & Coolng Tower Water Chemistry & Laboratory analyses, Environmental
compliance of the Power Plant Gnerating system.
 Responsible for Cooling Tower, Boiler Water, Engine Cooling system water.
 Monitoring the Laboratory analyses of Boiler,Cooling Tower, Engine cooling Water & WTP as
per standards and ensuring the parameters are within the limits.
 Interpreting the water quality analysis report, changes in the water quality & taking necessary
corrective action in the process.
 Optimization of chemical consumption and water consumption.
 Fuel Oil Analysis (Water content, Density, Viscosity Total Acid Number, Stability and Compat-
ibility test of Fuel oil, Flash Point and Pure Point of Fuel Oil, Calorific Value).
 Lube Oil analysis (Moisture content, Density, Viscosity, Total Base Number, Total Acid Num-ber, 
Flash point and Pure point and Rust preventive test of lube oil ) according to ASTM methods.
 Prepare the all-laboratory test reagent, testing by spectrophotometer, calibration of all
laboratory equipment.
 Collecting water/fuel sample at designated area accordingly.
 Handle dosing chemical at designated area.
 Monthly, Annual Budget Preparation, Inventory control, Daily, Monthly Report Preparation.
 Responsible for troubleshooting of water treatment plant.

Achievement:
 Commissioning of 12m3 /hr. UF, 10m3 /hr. RO, 10 10m3 /hr DM, 25m3 /hr Iron Remove filter,
30m3 /hr Softener Plant & 3m3 /hr ETP Plant.
 Commissioning of (4.2 Ton/hr*12) EGB Boiler & (3.1*2) 6.2 MW Triveni Turbine.
