TASK 1 5.5
The given tables indicate the world population and distribution from 1950 to 2050.
Overall, it is readily apparent that the figure for people living in Africa,Asia,Latin America and
Oceania recorded an upward trend while the reverse was seen in Europe, North America.
Looking at the chart for more detail, it can be seen that the number of citizens in 2000 stood
at 6 millions, 3.5 millions higher than that in 1950 before increasing to 9.0 estimately in 2050.
Following that, the gap between the proportion of inhabitants in Europe and in North America
was narrowed, with the former decreasing by 15% from 22% and the latter declining by 3%
from 7% in 2050.
Concerning the remaining types, the figure for people staying in Latin America and Oceania
followed relatively similar patterns, also recording a period of stability at 9% and 1%,
respectively, despite mild variations in 2050. In contrast, there was a marginal increase by
2% in the figure for citizens living in Africa in 2000, while that in Asia recorded a mild growth
to 60% from 56%. In 2050, the percentage of inhabitants staying in Asia is supposed the
data representing 59% will be approximately 3 times as much as that in Africa.
TASK 2 4.5 (~4.0)
In the contemporary world, there has been much discussion revolving around the issue of
whether using fossil fuel comparison finding the altered products for them. From my
perspective, the latter is definitely beneficial in many ways. -TR
Compelling arguments can be made that using the presented fuel is necessary –CC/TR. The
primary factor that needs to be taken into consideration is that vehicles which are powered
by diesel are convenient for them. Drivers usually have some experience with their cars in
this way. To be more exact, some drivers own cars that are inherited. For example, the man
who owns the car given to him by his father is usually unwilling to sell his present. Moreover,
having the car before the idea makes them consider that it will waste money if they change it
to a new item. It is difficult to change their attitudes to this solution for a long time.???
In contrast, some others may claim that it is crucial to have safe fuels substituting the old
sources. The fundamental reason for this is that inhabitants in the world can be aware of that
as they use vehicles provided with fossil fuels which are damaging the natural environment.
For instance, there are a wide range of cars in the town that can lead to air pollution as well
as noise pollution and it is unhealthy with personal health -CC. In addition, the extinction of
fauna and flora increases consistently as well as citizens will suffer -GRA from toxins from
cars using fossil fuels. In order for our natural resources to stabilize, the government should
expand the usage of renewable source energy, such as cars using solar energy.
To sum up, in spite of the fact that the use of fossil fuels is common, the advantages of safe
renewable energy surely outbalances its disadvantages. -TR
