GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the lesson students should be able to:

Goal#1 Follow commands


Eat, drink, take a bite, chew, swallow, cook, lick (ice cream)
Goal#2 Identify fruits and vegetable food items
Identify: pineapple, orange, lemon, pear, strawberry, pear, watermelon, grapes, banana,
apple, tomato, lettuce, carrot, potato, onion
Identify the plural forms of all food items and food items that have no plural forms (bacon,
butter)
Identify the written form of at least 80% of vocabulary words.
Ask and answer questions. What's this? And what are these? to identify food items
Use numbers 1-20 to count food items

ICEBREAKER

DAILY ROUTINE:

● Review Feelings, pass the ball, and ask them: “How are you feeling today?”
● Review the Days of the week with a song, then ask “What day is today?”
● Review months of the year with a song.
● Weather Review ask them: “How is the weather today?”.
● Review numbers 31-60 and colors.
PRESENTATION

Show the meaning of the topic and create interest:

The teacher will try to decorate the classroom like a restaurant: with a table, and menu,
also using a costume as a waitress.

Show meaning of Vocabulary:


Magic bag: we are going to take from the bag several foods and we are going over each
one

Show meaning of Grammar:


Follow commands: Let's play Symons says
Mimics they will have to pronounce what is the action.
Identify the plural forms of all food items and food items that have no plural forms (bacon,
butter) . Paste two examples on the board and explainthat when there is just one we say
Tomato and when there is more than one we say Tomatoes…
A presentation about food using this and these: What’s this? And What are these? to
identify food items
