INTRODUCTION:

Online food ordering apps are the media by which local hotels and restaurants, chefs, canteens are

more attracted towards online ordering apps rather than home delivery of a specific restaurants. In a
process of online food ordering apps there is no human intervention involved which gives it more
privacy. Apps are having number of restaurant, chefs kitchens listed with their menu specifically. So
the consumers need not to carry pamphlets and menu list for further orders. It gives convenience to
order food on click of a button. These apps can be directly downloaded to smart phone which give
them more accessibility. By giving your address and profile, payment information account can be
created. However the app needs to be downloaded by the customers on their cell phones and register
them on the app. Creating profile on apps includes their address and payment information. Apps are
having different kind of mode of payments like credit cards, debit cards, cash less accounts and free
home delivery. Different apps offer different services, offers, features or restaurants too. Downloaded

customers review on restaurants as well as dishes. The market business of Indian food industry is

HYPOTHESIS:
Correlation

Online food deliveries = a + b (Age) + c (Income) + d (Education)

Ho = There is a no relation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education

H1 = There is a relation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education

or

Ho = a = 0, b = 0, c = 0, d= 0

H1 = a ≠ 0, b ≠ 0, c 0, d≠0

Analysis of Variation

Ho = There is a no significant variation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education

H1 = There is significant variation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education

The model is built using the excel data analysis function- Regression Model, (Assuming confidence
level =90%)

DATA ANALYSIS :
 There is 85% correlation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education
 There is 88% variation of online food deliveries on the age, income and education
 Online delivery is highly dependent on the age, income and education
 The standard error in the model is 0.15 which is quite on lower side
 Since, Significance F is less than assumed α = 0.1 (Confidence level =90% assumed). Hence
Ho is rejected
 Therefore, H1 is accepted. This also proves there is a variation of online food deliveries on the
age, income and education
 Also, the R2 > 0, the model is correct and is also significant at 90% confidence level
 Also, for developing forecasting models we require more dataset

DATA VISUALIZATION:

 52.2 % of the people who order online are of the age group 25 – 40 years

 59.7 % of the people who order online are post graduates

 43.3% of the people ordering online are the students who live away from their hometown

LIMITATIONS OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT:

11 | P a g e
1) Formulation of research aims and objectives: While completing the research thesis, we have
not formulated research aims and objectives too broadly by only selecting Gurgaon city. This has
been done so that the level of focus of the study could be increased.

2) Choice of data collection method(s): Regardless of the choice of data collection method
(primary or secondary source) our team strongly believe that integrating additional methods of
data collection could have increased the scope and depth of analyses and this statement would be
true.

3) Implementation of data collection method: Here we do not have an extensive experience in

primary data collection there is a great chance that the nature of implementation of data collection
method may affect the final results in calculations. So, we consider the toleration of about 2%.

4) Scope of discussions: Our team strongly supports believes that scope of discussion is a research
limitation regardless of the choice of the research area. Because (most likely) y\we don’t have
many years of experience of conducing researches and producing academic papers of such a large
size individually, the scope and depth of discussions in your paper is compromised in many levels
compared to the works of experienced scholars.
