Details
Payment
• The Company is responsible for all payroll liabilities including: payroll, superannuation, worker’s
compensation and all other employer related obligations.
• The Company pay cycle begins Monday AM and concludes Sunday PM.
• Your Pay Advice is emailed to you prior to your Pay being deposited into your bank account every
Friday.
• All payments comply with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020.
• Should you have a question regarding your payment or you believe that it is incorrect, please contact
our accounts depart on accounts@cliffordwallace.com.au as soon as possible.
Bookings
• Always call the Office (02) 9267 9933 during Office Hours only (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6.00pm) and
the After-Hours Mobile 0411 854 289 outside Office Hours only (Monday – Friday 6.00pm – 8.30am
Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday)
Staff Obligations
• Staff identified as requiring further training may be requested to attend skills reinforcement training.
• ENGLISH must be spoken at all times - on shifts and when attending the Agency Office.
• Every staff member is obliged to carry a valid New South Wales RSA card on all shifts (a Statement of
Attainment is not a valid document).
• Use of MOBILE PHONES is not permitted on shift. All mobile phones must be switched off or on silent
mode and left in your bag.
• No items are to be taken from the venue (decorations, alcohol, promotional items etc.). Removing items
from the venue may be considered stealing and, as such, a prosecutable offence.
Client Cancellations
• When a shift is cancelled by the client 2 hours prior to start time, you will be paid for 2 hours
• When a shift is cancelled by the client at the start time, or if you have arrived at the venue or
commenced work, you are entitled to 4 hours pay
Grooming
• NO facial jewelry is allowed. One ear stud per ear (females), no earring for males.
• Females are to wear moderate make-up and no (or clear) nail polish.
• Always use deodorant; colognes and perfumes are to be used sparingly.
• Women to wear white or nude colour bra at all times.
• Hair longer than ear length is to be tied back in a high ponytail, longer than shoulder length into a bun
(male and female).
Uniform
• All Staff (except Chefs) are required to arrive to all shifts in full uniform (apron should be carried on
a hanger and in a CWA suit bag where applicable). Arriving at the venue in casual clothing is not
acceptable.
• Chefs are required to arrive to all shifts in smart casual clothing (uniform should be carried on a
hanger and in a CWA suit bag). Arriving to the venue in full chef uniform is not acceptable.
• Failure to arrive in your required uniform as outlined in the booking may lead to you being sent home or
if you require the Agency to send a spare uniform by Taxi to enable you to complete your shift, you will
then need to return the loaned uniform to Head Office prior to your next shift or you will be placed on
work hold until it is returned.
• Your uniform must be to be approved by CWA Office before your first shift. Your uniform must always be
clean and ironed.
• The required uniform for your shift is listed on the Online Staff Portal. If in doubt, please contact the
office.
• Uniform purchases can be made either from a hospitality uniform supplier or from the Clifford Wallace
Uniform Shop where we can offer payment options, including payment in full by credit card or paid by
deposit and two further installments by credit card or cash.
• Items purchased from The Agency can be returned to The Agency at the end of your employment and
may be eligible for refund or part refund (see Uniform Shop terms and conditions).
Items required for set-up shifts or on the request of The Agency’s Client may include but are not limited to:
• Black / White ‘BONDS’ style T-shirt with raglan sleeve and round neck
Resignation
• You are requested to give two (2) weeks’ notice before resigning. If you hold a highly specialized or
permanent position however, you are required to give at least four (4) weeks’ notice.
• Please submit a written notice of resignation for our records. We will reply with an acceptance notice
and inform your manager or supervisor of your resignation (where applicable).

Employment under this Agreement entitles the Employee the right to:
Employees are required to behave at all times in a way that upholds the values and reputation of The
Agency. The employee agrees to:
• Act and make decisions based on equitable consideration of the relevant facts without
compromising their reputation or the reputation of The Agency.
• Take responsibility for decisions and actions and be professional, honest, consistent and
impartial.

• Appreciate the difference in others and welcome learning, teamwork, collaboration and
clear communication.
• Maximise service delivery while focusing on quality and customer needs
• Abide by the law and appropriate policies and procedures; and
• Observe and act in accordance to standards for safety
MISCONDUCT
The Agency is committed to handling all matters of underperformance, serious misconduct and
breaches of the code by enforcing Performance / Disciplinary processes, in line with Fair Work
Guidelines. These steps can include, however not necessarily in this order, and not limited to -
Serious misconduct is any activity that causes serious and imminent risk to the health and safety of
another person or to the reputation or profits of The Agency (including but not limited to: theft, fraud,
assault, being drunk at work and refusing to carry out work duties).
TERMINATION
Employees may be subject to termination where an employee breaches their contract, engages in
illegal activities, disrupts workplace practice, performs below acceptable standards or causes damage
or financial loss to The Agency.
CONFIRM

a. Hold confidential information in strict confidence and not disclose, or permit the disclosure
of Confidential Information except as with the prior written consent of The Agency;
b. Not disclose, or cause or permit the disclosure to any person of, any opinion in respect of
the Confidential Information;
c. Keep Confidential Information and any Documents secure and protected from any use,
disclosure or access which is inconsistent with this document; and
d. Promptly notify The Agency if they suspect, or become aware of, any unauthorised use,
storage, copying or disclosure of the Confidential Information.
The Employee also agrees not to discuss, comment upon, discredit, or disclose any information, in
any manner or form, directly or indirectly, to any person or entity, about:
Further, the Employee shall not assist, or cooperate with, any other person or entity in committing any
act which, would constitute a violation of this Agreement.
Any violation of this section by either party shall be deemed a material breach of this Agreement and
could result in termination and/or legal action against the Employee. Any liability resulting from a breach
of confidentiality will be passed on to the responsible staff member as The Company does not take any
responsibility for acts listed above.
The obligations set forth in this paragraph shall survive any termination of the Agreement.

Party introduced to them by The Agency;

I am not an Australian Citizen and have provided a copy of my VISA Grant documentation and
a copy of my Passport
All Company Employees confirm that all information provided prior and during employment is real and
accurate.
a. All Company Employees are required to keep track of and fulfil all VISA Legal requirements of
employment at all times. The Company is not liable and responsible for any VISA
infringement.
b. All Company Employees are obliged to update the office immediately when their VISA
conditions change.
c. The Company will conduct random and periodic VISA checks on all Employees through a
Government approved online platform.
d. All Company Employees on student VISA (subclasses 570 – 576) will not exceed working
limitation of 40h per fortnight from the date that employment starts with The Company and
contracted to The Agency.
e. All Company Employees on working holiday VISAs (subclass 417 & 462) will not exceed
working limitation of 6 months per employer from the date that employment starts with The
Company and contracted to The Agency.
CONFIRM
For the duration of my employment with The Company and contracted to The Agency I will
not breach any VISA and/or work conditions assigned to my Immigration Status.

This Employee Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by the undersigned

“Agency”) and (known as the “Employee”).
