I have never had a broken bone, but this one day it has changed.

It happened when our family friends came to us. We prepared a funny program and one part of it
was bowling.

My sister played with one little girl, who didn’t know how to play on her own. They didn’t roll the ball
as you usually do, but they rolled it with two hands on the ground. I decided that I will bring them the
ball. I was sitting next to them with the ball and as they rolled it, it went somehow over my pointing
finger. I started to scream and my mom took me to the bathroom. She put my finger into the cold
water and I was just crying. She kept saying me that we have to go to the hospital. Because one of
the moms said that she had broken finger before and it looked just like that. But I didn’t want to go,
because I thought it was fine. However, I still had to go.

At the hospital I went to X-ray and my mom and I were so happy when we got the picture. There was
nothing broken. We were right about that. It was even bigger surprise when the doctor told us it was
crushed. I got a splint which I had to wear for 4 months.

When I came home the dinner was ready and I just couldn’t resist the great food, which made
everything better.
