GUIDELINE

Using Spreadsheet and word Processor for data analysis (12 %)

Using Microsoft Excel, analyse the Statements of Financial Position (for the FY 2020) of the
assigned company by performing - (i) Ratio analysis (at least five most important ratios), (ii)
Horizontal analysis, and (iii) Vertical analysis.

As an auditor, discuss thoroughly your results and identify account/accounts with high risk of
material misstatement.

Please submit:
i. Microsoft Excel analysis – please leave the formulas intact.
ii. Your discussion (using Microsoft Word) – Report format and not more than 5 pages
– please refer CTPS rubric as guideline.

Submit both files online (UUM Online Learning’s portal) before/on 3/01/2023.

Note: You need to gather all relevant information from various sources, such as press reports,
financial analyst reports etc.
