THE PROJECT:
The purpose of this fieldwork project is to provide an opportunity for the students to
work in teams and to demonstrate their abilities to critically look into issues relating to
the matters understudy, and come up with practical solutions. This project involved the
assessment of risks and how students apply the knowledge on risk management process
to finally address the issues that they have identified. Students are also expected to be
capable of applying the knowledge acquired/ discussed in the classroom.
1. Please make sure that the following requirements are met when submission of final
written work is done:
Project need to be written in English, with double spacing and 12 font- size; and
paginated.
Start answering each question on a new page.
Please bind the project papers accordingly (eg: ring binding, tape binding).
Name and matric number; as well as class group (A, B, C, D etc) of group
members need to be listed on the front page of the project.
Beside the hard copy, a copy of the report is to be uploaded via UUM learning.
Please quote your references and data sources.
2. For presentation purpose, students (per groups) are given 15 minutes presentation,
followed by 5 minutes Q & A, slides need to be uploaded via UUM learning for
presentation purpose.
4. Get a copy of annual report for Malaysian public-listed companies which listed under
Malaysian Bourse regardless of it industries (e.g.: Plantation, Construction, Trading,

Industrial Product, Consumer, etc.). Please consult your class lecturer of the
company chosen.
THE QUESTIONS:
REMINDER:
This is a group project; teamwork spirits and cooperation are expected from group
members. If a team leader feels that the team members are unsatisfied with any of the
group member’s cooperation, formally write to the class lecturer for him/ her to consider
marks deduction from the specified member.
