CAPSTONE PROJECT GUIDELINES (FALL 2022)

OVERVIEW

The business administration program at the College of Management Sciences aims to impart
students with a real understanding of problems and issues faced by the industry/organization
through capstone projects. Further, capstone projects would also allow organizations to engage
one or more of our student groups to conduct in-depth analysis of some organizational problem
and present their findings and recommendations. To achieve this goal, capstone projects are
offered to students over two semesters, i.e. Capstone Project 1 and Capstone Project 2. Each
capstone project will be assigned to a student group who will complete the project under the
close supervision of a faculty member.

1. Apply their knowledge and understanding of management sciences to identify and

analyze a business problem.
2. Review current understanding and assess alternate approaches to the identified problem,
applying theory and demonstrating a capacity for evaluative and critical thinking.
3. Apply skills in locating and analyzing information for planning and executing
independent research.
4. Reflect upon and integrate their own work and the research of others to develop a
