BKAI3043 Project Guideline

The Project: The purpose of this project is to provide an opportunity to understand the
current practices of corporate governance in Malaysia. The following guidelines should
be used to carry out the project:

1. Maximum page: 6 - 8
2. This individual assignment contributes 10% of total 40% BKAI3043’s marks carried
to the final.
3. Please make sure that the following requirements are met when submission of final
written work:
Project need to be written in English, with double spacing and 12 font- size;
and paginated.
Start answering each question on a new page.
Please bind the project papers accordingly (eg: ring binding, taped binding).
Name and matric number; as well as class group (A, B, C, D etc) need to be
listed on the front page of the assignment.
Beside the hard copy, a copy of the report is to be uploaded via UUMlearning.
Please quote your references and data sources.

The Task:

Get a copy of annual report for Malaysian public-listed companies which listed under
Malaysian Bourse regardless of it industries (e.g.: Plantation, Construction, Trading,
Industrial Product, Consumer, etc.). Please consult your class lecturer of the company
chosen. Analyze the annual report on the extent of company in practicing corporate
governance as recommended by Securities Commission. (PLEASE USE MALAYSIAN
CODE ON CORPORATE GOVERNANCE 2021)
