Course Title: Entrepreneurship

Instructions:
IA II assessment would aim at analysing the critical aspects of students’ skills and analytical
abilities. It is expected from each group to complete the given study in the assigned time and
share their views with the class through a presentation.
The objective of Project Assignment
This Project work enables students to use and utilize their theoretical understanding of project
management in Identification, selection, planning, conducting, and addressing real-life
practical challenges through the project.
The project will be carried out in the following stages:

Phase 1 Project Identification and Screening:


The first step is Project identification and screening is a very crucial decision. if a wrong
project is selected it may lead to enormous losses and even liquidation of the company.
The following points need to be covered for the identification and screening of the project.
a- Introduction
b-Define Objective
c-Motivation for the project/background of the study.
d-Project identification
e-Project Feasibility report /Project Appraisal
f-Project selection (Based on Methods)
g- Project Scope
Phase 2- Methodology
Design methodology that is appropriate and adequately justified The steps to tackle the
identified problem are clearly specified.
Phase 3-Planning of Project:
The time limit and Budget have been accurately established and are being followed.
Appropriate project work distribution should be done. Possible risk also needs to be
identified.
Phase 4- Data Collection and Data Analysis
Depending on the requirement of the project the data need to be collected and analyzed.
Phase 5- Finding and Conclusion
The students are required to address the major findings of the project and conclude it.
Phase 6- Report writing and submission
Students are required to prepare a report that includes the aforementioned criteria as well as
correct citation and referencing.
Phase 7 – Presentation
Each group is required to present the project report. 20 minutes will be allocated to each
group.

Topics for the Project Report


1. Shark Tank Simulation

a) Objective: This activity not only encourages creative thinking but also helps students
practice their pitching skills.

b) Steps: Organize a "Shark Tank" style competition where students pitch their business ideas
to a panel of judges (professors, entrepreneurs, or investors). Class is required to break up
into groups comprising 5-6 students in each group.

2. SWOT Analysis Workshop

a) Objective: This activity helps students critically assess the viability of their concepts.

b) Steps: Ask students to identify a business idea they are passionate about. Then, guide them
through a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for their
chosen idea. Class is required to break up into groups comprising 5-6 students in each
group.

3. Problem-Solution Brainstorming

a) Objective: This activity can help students understand the importance of addressing real
market needs.

b) Steps: The class is required to break up into groups comprising 5 students in each group.
Group-wise students have to present a list of common business problems or challenges and
have students brainstorm innovative solutions.
