Project Brief

PRESENTATION

You will write and deliver a 15-minute presentation on the project you choose to work on for this module.
You have three options to choose from, and the presentation should explain the following, supported with
relevant references and sources:
• A background to the project
• An analysis of competitors
• How you planned it
• What you did
• How you did it
• Why you did it
• Content examples

Option 1 – Launch marketing campaign

• Choose a sector such as fashion, food delivery, luxury hotels, video games etc, and imagine you are
working for a new brand who is trying to enter this field.
• Plan a launch marketing campaign for your brand and explain it in detail, referring to concepts and
theories you learned throughout your first year.
• Create content which you will use to promote the brand. This can be social media posts, web content,
photography, short video clips, blog posts – whatever fits with your marketing plan.

Option 2 – New content marketing campaign

• Choose a specific visitor attraction (a real one) such as a museum, historical site, theme park, zoo etc.
• Plan a marketing campaign for a new attraction/exhibition/event, and explain it in detail, referring to
concepts and theories you learned throughout your first year.
• Create content which you will use to promote it. This can be social media posts, web content,
photography, short video clips, blog posts – whatever fits with your marketing plan. You must work within
the attraction’s current branding, so it is important to research them thoroughly (ideally visit them
yourself).

Option 3 – Personal brand marketing

• Work on a personal branding campaign which establishes your own online professional profile.
• Plan your branding campaign using professional social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube
etc) and explain your ideas in detail, referring to concepts and theories you learned throughout your first
year.
• Create content which you will use on your platforms. This can be social media posts, web content,
photography, short video clips, blog posts – whatever fits with your personal brand plan.
