A. Understanding of Concept/Guide Questions


Please answer the following guide questions:

1. What stood out for you in the video? What specific instances and why?

 On the video “Meals Per Hour”, they describe the every employees
of the Toyota are working together even if what race they are and
happily there are no discrimination happening on the field of work.
Every organization in the field follows the every rules on how they
socialized to the other people with respect and determination to
themselves

2. How did it make you feel?


feel to be thankful to the people who put some efforts to help because of the typhoon
that withered in NYC, there was a man who helped the people who were giving relief
goods like that. Then there is a problem because, because they have difficulty in
packing relief goods, it seems that the whole process they do takes time like packing
relief goods until the distribution is delayed.

3. What parallels do you see in your processes?

The company in the village is like their practices in making their product, so it is similar
to the process of giving relief goods. First to distribute the contents of the box because

of the box like that, it looks like the box can be smaller than the big one to maximize the
space in the box and in the delivery truck like that. Until the pack was a relief good, they
made a way to make the packing faster without the volunteers having any difficulty.

4. What is your understanding of “Lean” in the video?

Back then, they used to carry relief goods by hand, and they lifted relief goods from the
truck down like that. Now they make a machine like that. Then it became more
accessible for the people waiting for relief, and they did not have to wait long. Then the
Toyota helped them how to maximize the space like in the box. These kinds of
techniques are one concept of the "Lean" on how they make everything easier. Then
