ACADEMIC PROJECT:
M.Tech Thesis:- Study on influence of Copper Slag and Basalt Fibers on the strength and durability
properties of concrete.
Description:- This thesis involves an investigation to find the suitability of Copper Slag as an
alternative material for the river sand. Also, an attempt had done to make the concrete to resist tensile
strength, brittleness, resistance to fatigue, durable and denser concrete by incorporating fibers of new
generation non-metallic inorganic fibers “Chopped Basalt Strands”.

B.Tech Project:- Construction of Anicut across Swarnamukhi River near Tondawada Village
(Mukkoti) in Chandragiri Mandal, Chittor District.
 Description:- This project involves Construction of anicut. The site proposed is just 100m
downstream from the point of confluence of Kalyani and Swarnamukhi river. From this point there is an
existing groyane. Every year this formed groyne was said to be breaching and the flow will be stopped
through the channel, the tanks which are depending on these flows will not received the required quantity
of water of the ayacut. Therefore now it is proposed by constructing the permanent anicut to divert the
required water to the tank through the head sluice provided in the anicut.
The catchment area for the proposed site is 74.75 KM.
