Underfloor Air Distribution Linear Terminal

MODEL: CLMIT
DESCRIPTION:
CLMIT (Continuous Linear Modular Integrated
Terminal) is a linear diffuser terminal, available in
constant and variable volume air flow configurations.
The underfloor terminal features 20 gauge (1mm)
galvanized steel construction, pre-painted flat black.
Optional air valves use time modulation to vary total
air supplied to a conditioned space. Air velocity is
constant any time the valve is open; the short time
duration between open/close cycles produces the
effect of contiuous air delivered to the occupied
space. They are rated for 24V (18-30VAC) operation;
one (1) PAP-1 Plug & Play Cable is included per air
valve. Optional extended high performance air valves
are available (specify on order).
Optional duct connections are available in multiple
sizes and configurations. Ducted air flow capacity
is derived from the source; output is dependent on
ducting arrangement and fan capability.
The linear grille is available as extruded aluminum or
stainless steel, in a variety of sizes and configurations.
Ten (10) standard colors are available; custom colors
and finishes can be provided to match architectural
design (specify on order).

DESCRIPTION:
CLWMIT (Continuous Linear Water Modular Integrated Terminal) is a hydronic heating / air cooling
linear diffuser package, for use in raised access floor systems. The underfloor terminal features 20
gauge (1mm) galvanized steel construction, pre-painted flat black.
The hydronic fin pack has been rated in accordance with AHRI Standard 410; rows are 1/2"Ø (13mm)
copper tubing with 1"Ø (25mm) supply and return connections. Aluminum fin size and spacing, as well as
overall finned length vary based on overall terminal dimensions and performance specification. Associated
water control valve is field furnished and installed by others.
Optional air valves use time modulation to vary total air
supplied to a conditioned space. Air velocity is constant
any time the valve is open; the short time duration between
open/close cycles produces the effect of contiuous
air delivered to the occupied space. They are rated for

DesCrIptIon:
AIFCB (In-Floor Chilled Beam) 2-Pipe
or 4-Pipe models are designed to create
an efficient and simple solution to meet
perimeter cooling needs. Supply and
return water connections are located on
opposite ends of the trough. Chilled water
can be passed through these connections
based on the building demands and the
facility operators control. By controlling
water valves and time modulating the
air valves in response to a thermostat
located in the space, one can meet the
perimeter demands of any season.
The air valve(s) uses time modulation to
vary total air delivered to the conditioned
space. Air velocity is constant any time
the valve(s) is open; the short time
duration between air pulses results in
the sensation of continuous air delivered
with consistent flow. The air valve(s) is
rated for 24 volt (18-30VAC) operation ALL DIMENSIONS NOMINAL +/- 0.1" (2.5mm)
and comes with one (1) PAP-1 Plug &

The thermostat detects a cooling condition and the aquastat
detects chilled water: the control box will begin to time modulate
the air valves and open the water valve. Chilled water flows through
the coil, and air passes through the unit in a time modulation of
six second full open bursts. Once the thermostat detects that the
occupied space has reached set point, the system will return to
suspend mode, closing the air and water valves awaiting further
system demands.
HEATING MODE
The thermostat detects a heating condition and the aquastat
detects hot water: the control box will begin to time modulate the
water valve while the air valve remains closed. As hot water flows
through the coil, air falls into the chilled beam where it is heated
and convects out into the space. If additional heating is required
to reach setpoint, the air valve will also time modulate. Once the
thermostat detects that the occupied space has reached set point,
the system will return to suspend mode, closing the air and water
valves, awaiting further system demands.
SHOULDER SEASON
detects hot water: the control box will time modulate the air
valves while the water valve remains closed. Once the thermostat
reaches set point, the air valves will close and the system will
return to suspend mode.

remain in suspend mode, awaiting further system demands.
