Exercise 1: You received an email from your English friend, Paula, who is
planning to visit you next month. Read part of her email below.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing you next month. I’ve just booked my flight. My
plane gets in around 4 pm, and I’ll probably get away from the airport around 5 pm.
What’s the best way to get to your house from there?
I’d like to go on a few trips while I’m there. What are the best places to visit? How
about coming with me on some of the excursions?
I’d better go and look for my passport now. By the way, as you know, I’m starting
my art degree next year, so I’d love to visit some museums and galleries while I’m
staying with you, too. Are there any near you?
Write an email responding to Paula. Write at least 120 words.

Dear Dear Paula,

Intro I’m so happy to know that you are going to visit my country next month.
I’m writing to give you some necessary information to prepare for this
trip.
Body My house is quite close to the airport. After getting off the airport, you can
take bus number 93, or take a taxi to address 113, street A, ward B. However,
please let me know your arrival time. I'll come to pick you up and we can
hang out, go sightseeing together.

If you want to have a few trips, there are many famous scenic places that you
can go to such as Son Doong cave, Ha Long Bay, Ba Na Hills Van Van. Pick
Con a few destinations you like and we'll go there together. The trip is sure to be
great. Together we will enjoy the sights, enjoy the food and discover the local
customs.

After the trip, we will visit some museums and galleries. Although there are
no museums or galleries near where I live, I do know of a few very famous
ones. I will take you there. This will be a memorable trip.

Hope to see you soon.

You friend,
