You have received an email from your English pen-friend. Read his email and give him
the information he required.
How are you these days? I’m sorry for not keeping in touch with you more often. I
have been busy lately. We are planning to organize the Mid-autumn festival for a group
of Vietnamese students, so I need some information on how to celebrate it. I would also
like to know the kinds of gifts children often receive and the types of food that are
often served during the festival.

Dear John,
How is going? How has your family been? Many thanks for your last letter. It is greart to hear
from you again. I am sorry I have not written for such a long time, but I have been really busy
studing Maths to pass the final exam. I hope you and your family are well.

Anyway, I am writing to provide you with some useful information that I know about the Mid-
autumn festival. First of all, a party style Mid-Autumn Festival might be organized with musics,
performances, movies, or video clips. The theme of party is all about Moon including Moon
Boy, Moon Lady and Moon Palace. Additionally, this event is represented the family reunion or
other gatherings. Secondly, there are variety activities for the party such as: eating mooncake
together, creating and hanging colorful lanterns, giving gifts, sending celebration messegas to
loved ones and shoping for lovely clothes.

In addition, a star-shaped lantern or a sarp-shaped lantern is a traditional toy for children at Mid-
autumn festival. Besides, masks of some cartoon characters also are interesting gift for children.
Regarding the food, Mooncake is a crucial dish that should not be overlooked during the Mid-
Autumn Festival. You can also make fruit, tea, and desserts for everyone attending the gathering.

Anyway, I must go and get on with my work. Give my love to your family. We must try and
meet up soon. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

come to your country for a one-week holiday.  

Hi! How are you doing? I’ve got a week free this summer and I’d really like to spend my time
touring around your country. How can I get to your house from the airport? One more thing, I
will also need somewhere not too expensive to stay, of course. People say that the food in your
country is very good, would you please organize a tour for me to try the street food or travel
around with me if you have time?

full for your trip. First of all, you can use Grab to call a motorbike to carry you to my place, for
its cost is inexpensive. However, if you have heavy luggage, I think you can call a car from
Grab. Additionally, you can stay with me for a week since I want to introduce one of my foreign
friends to my parents. Besides, I can assist you in booking a hotel or a homestay at a
reasonable/affordable/good price. Finally, when you get here, we will meet and make plans to
taste some local food and visit some famous locations at my country.

Anywway, I must go and get on with my work. Give my love to your family. We must try and
