GROUP 3 CONSOLIDATED WORK

 The ten commandments are divided into two parts, 1-4 focus on man’s
relationship with God which is connected to the 1 st greatest commandment
 And 5-10 focus on man’s relationship with other which is connected to the 2 nd
greatest commandment 2nd thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself
 The Ten Commandments are found in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21;
the two greatest commandments are found in Matthew 22:37-39.
 Our response to the ten commandments is that we make these as our guidelines
in our everyday life and make sure to not break any of it as much as possible.
Our shared response also suggests that the 10 commandments make our faith in
God to strengthen and make us love Him and accept Him in our lives.
 Three most violated in 10 commandments
1. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain
- As the social media is being used more often, the so-called netizens have
used the name of the Lord for their own personal gain or used it for
expression only like “oh my God”, “Diyos ko po”; and prayers were also
being used for joke like ama namin remix; and lastly, they used the image
of the Lord for fame.
2. Honor your father and your mother
- It can be agreed that most of us has disobeyed our parents and we can’t
deny that. There were times that we have disappointed them and hurt their
feeling but we also made sure to be a better person and change that not
only for them but also for God whom given us this commandment
3. Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy
- We all admit that sometimes we were not able to go to church because of
certain things like being exhausted in school works or sometimes we
chose to spend our rest day in spending time with others or in computer
games because we think that it is the only time for us to relax and the
pandemic make it more impossible for us to go to church. But we realized
that we also need to remember that we also have to show how thankful
we are to God and made sure to always have a portion of our lives to
remember sabbath day.
