INSTRUCTIONS:
Papel Picado Banner (Advanced)

YOU WILL NEED:

• Printed Template
• Tissue Paper
• Sharpe X-acto Knife (for this stencil)
• Scissors
• Tape
• String

STEP 1
Print this page out and carefully cut along the dotted line.

Cut & place on side fold of tissue.

STEP 2
Stack up to 8 pieces of tissue paper on top of each other and line up
their edges. Fold the tissue in half, then fold that in half again.

STEP 3
Align the top and right edges of your template with the two folded
sides of your tissue paper and secure your template to the tissue by
placing tape on the left and bottom edges (reference image below).

STEP 4
Use the x-acto knife to cut through
the stencil and tissue, removing all of
the black areas of the stencil.

STEP 5
Cut along the outer edge.

STEP 6
Unfold and separate the tissues.
Fold each papel picado over a string
to hang this festive banner.
