Dr.

Guangwei Ouyang International Education Entrance Scholarship Application

Each year, Douglas College awards up to $100,000 in entrance scholarships to new international students. Students are selected based on
their previous academic performance and their engagement in their school, community and/or personal development, and their potential
contribution to the Douglas College community.

Optional Application Materials


We have copies of your transcripts and test scores from your application to Douglas College. However, you are welcome to
submit any documentation that you feel would strengthen your application for a scholarship including:

Resume/CV
Academic, community or volunteer awards
Reference letter from academic, community or extracurricular contact

Application and Selection Process


Deadlines: January 31 (Summer), May 31 (Fall), September 30 (Winter)

- To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have already applied to Douglas College and have a Student ID#.
- Submit the application form and all supporting documents as indicated above by email to dciadmissions@douglascollege.ca.
- Students are selected based on their previous academic performance and their engagement in their school, community and/or personal
development.
- Successful recipients will be notified of their award by email prior to arrival at Douglas College. The scholarship will be applied to the
recipient's student account and will be redeemable towards the 2nd semester's tuition fees. Scholarships are non-refundable and non-
transferable.
- Only successful candidates will be notified.
