Course Description
The course deals with acquainting students with contemporary management theories and
practices that are relevant to the rapidly changing organizational environment. This
course introduces the general management concept and theories such as systems
approach, contingency theory, leadership and decision-making approaches and skills. In
addition, the course covers principles of management with special emphasis to the
fundamental functions of management i.e. planning, organizing, staffing, directing &
controlling. It also introduces the evaluation & development of management though &
the overall organizational environment.
Course objective
Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to:
