Course Objectives:
1. To familiarize the student with the varied functions, processes, and activities
of management and to assist the student appreciate the underlying theories
that constitute the discipline of management, to offer real-life situations
through problem-solving skills.
Course Outcome:
At the end of the course the student is expected to have acquired :
1. Understand the conceptual framework of management
2. Focuses on the basic roles, skills and functions of management, with special
attention to managerial responsibility for effective and efficient achievement of
goals.
3. Enable students to work as an effective team member and leader
4. Be aware of the ethical dilemmas faced by managers and the social
responsibilities of businesses.
5. Use problem-solving strategies and critical thinking through case studies
