1/11/22 Meet with ILS and Administration to discuss ELEOT 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2,
observations. [1 hour] 1a, 1b, 1d, 2a, 2b
Reflection: This meeting was very beneficial for my capstone project. I was able to discuss with them the
importance of implementing technology into classrooms. We discussed how teachers are using technology
currently and how there is a lack of creativity when using technology. This was proven with the ELEOT
observations.
1/12/22- Researching best practices for building confidence in 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2, 2.8, 3.6
1/18/22 teachers when using technology tools to help facilitate 1a, 1b, 1d, 2a, 2b, 2h, 3f
students creating original works of learning. [20 hours]
Reflection: During this time, I researched best practices when building confidence in teachers when they
are using technology. With this research I created a “game plan” on how I would go about introducing
new technology to the 2nd grade team.
1/20/22 Design Microsoft Forms survey to send out to the 2nd grade 1.1, 2.8
team. [2 hours] 1a, 2h
Reflection: When designing the Microsoft Forms to survey the 2 nd grade teachers I wanted to make it easy
for them, but also beneficial to me. These forms will show me how confident the teachers are at the
beginning, middle, and end of the coaching cycle.
1/21/22 Send out the initial Microsoft Form and analyze the data. [1 1.1, 2.8, 4.1, 4.2

Reflection: After sending out the form to all 2nd grade teachers at Sixes Elementary, I analyzed the data. It
seems that all 4 teachers sometimes use or currently use technology in their classrooms. 3 out of the 4
teachers are not comfortable implementing technology, while one teacher feels somewhat confident.
1/24/22 Meet with 2nd grade teachers for introductory session to 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2, 3.6

Reflection: Overall, I think this session went well. They discussed that they have a lack of confidence
because they don’t fully understand how to use certain programs. This will help me be able to pick out the
strategies I researched to help build their confidence. I also learned what they already know and what
they’d like to be coached on.
2/7/22 – Whole group coaching session with 2nd grade teachers on 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 3.1,
2/8/22 Canva. This program will allow students to create original 3.2, 3.3
works of learning. [2 hours] 1b, 2a, 2b, 2d, 2e, 2f, 3a, 3b, 3c
Reflection: This coaching session was awesome! All of the teachers were excited and eager to learn about
Canva. I started with the basics and had them create something. I could tell that they were beginning to
feel more confident with the program since they were creating something.

2/14/22 Whole group coaching session with 2nd grade teachers on 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 3.1,
– Adobe Express (Post). This program will allow students to 3.2, 3.3

Reflection: This coaching session was awesome! All the teachers were excited and eager to learn about
Canva. I started with the basics and had them create something. I could tell that they were beginning to

3/7/22- Support teachers with implementation. Observe teachers in 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 3.1,

Reflection: I was able to observe all 4 teachers within the month of March. I noticed that the students were
very engaged when using tech tools to create original works of learning. The students were excited and
eager to learn. The teachers seemed more confident than they did in January. The teachers tried to
troubleshoot issues that occurred.
3/28/22- Mid-Year survey on confidence and implementation of 1.1, 2.8, 4.1, 4.2, 6.3
4/1/22 technology within the classroom. Analyze the results of the 1a, 2h, 4a, 4.b, 6c
survey and adjust coaching strategies to support teachers.
Research new best practices if needed [8 hours]
Reflection: After creating and sending out the midpoint check survey; I analyzed the information. I
noticed that teacher confidence went up. Teachers feel more comfortable with using technology in the
classroom.
4/11/22 Whole group coaching session on collaboration through 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 3.1,
– OneDrive and PowerPoint. Discuss issues that have occurred. 3.2, 3.3
4/12/22 [2 hours] 1b, 2a, 2b, 2d, 2e, 2f, 3a, 3b, 3c
Reflection: During this session, we discussed having students collaborate using Microsoft OneDrive and
PowerPoint. I coached them on how to share projects and access them through Microsoft Office 365. We
started to plan our upcoming assignments and were able to pick a project for the students to collaborate
and present on.
4/18/22 Classroom observations on students using tools to create 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.8, 3.1,

Reflection: Wow! I was blown away by how well these lessons went. They were spread out over multiple
weeks, so that students could go through the process – research, brainstorming, and working on their
presentation. The teachers did this with ease!! They were confident and even had the students helping one
another.
5/18/22- Create, send, and analyze final check-in survey. [4 hours] 1.1, 2.8, 4.1, 4.2, 6.3

Reflection: After creating and sending out the final check survey; I analyzed the information. I noticed
that teacher confidence went up. Teachers feel more comfortable with using technology in the classroom.
This data was proven with the observations done.
5/24/22 Meet with 2nd grade teachers to discuss learning experience. 1.1, 2.8, 4.1, 4.2, 6.3

Reflection: The 2nd grade teachers were so excited about all that they’ve done. They feel that they are
capable and excited to continue to use technology in their classroom.
