Immersive Reader & Review Abby Haines Lauren Hagood 6.21.22 @ 10:30-12:30 During this session, we reviewed Microsoft
Edge’s Immersive Reader. I answered any
questions she had about the program. We
discussed how she felt about the program and if it
made researching easier. I sat down with mom
after our session and listened to her opinion on
how she felt the program helped her daughter.

Both parties had nothing but positive feedback.


We will follow up on 7.1.22 to work on dictation
and taking our information and outing it into a
paper on Microsoft Word using dictation.

Dictation Abby Haines/Chrissy Lauren Hagood 7.1.22 @ 10:30-12:30 During this session, we reviewed the information
Haines she gathered and discussed how she wanted to
use it for an informational paper. I then coached
Abby on how to use the dictation tool in Microsoft
Word. I modeled it to begin and then had Abby try
it for fun. Once we worked out issues, Abby
started to write her paper using the dictation tool.
Abby will work on her paper before our next
session on 7.7.22.
Dictation & Review Abby Haines Lauren Hagood 7.7.22 @ 10:30-11:30 During this session, we read Abby’s paper using
the Immersive Reader tool in Microsoft Word! I
answered any questions she had and helped her
work through troubleshooting issues. We
discussed how she felt about the dictation tool.
She explained that she liked the tool, and it made
her feel more confident with her writing.
I sat down with Chrissy, Abby’s mom, and
discussed how she felt about the new tools. She
explained that they have made writing and
reading not as terrifying for her daughter.
