Answer
Basis : 100 g of ore and 1second of operation

moisture in ore = 12g

vapour pressure of water at 90 degree C (P) = 526 mm Hg= 526/760  atm

Temperature of hot gas in kelvin scale(T1) = (90+273.15)K= 363.15K

Temperature at STP(T0)= 273.15K

Volume at STP(V0)= 22.4L

Pressure at STP(P0)= 1 atm

Universal Gas Constant(R) = 0.0821 L atm K-1 mol-1

Using Combined Gas Law Equation we get,

where V1= volume of Hot gas

or,

or,V1 = 43 L

so, volume of water in hot gas(V2) = 0.06 *43L = 2.58L

now, no of moles of water(n) =

or,

or, n= 0.0599 moles

molar mass of water =[(1.01*2)+16]g/mol = 18.02 g/mol

so, mass of water present in hot gas = 0.0599/mol * 18.02 g/mol = 1.079 g

vapour pressure of off gases 90 degree C (P3) = 720 mm Hg= 720/760  atm

volume of off gas(V3)=

Using Combined Gas Law Equation we get,

or,

or,  V3 = 31.4L

volume of water in off gases(V4) = 0.3*31.4 L= 9.42L

now, no of moles of water(n) =

or,
or, n= 0.2993 moles

weight of water in off gas = 0.2993 mol *18.02 g/mol = 5.393g

weight of moisture from ore = 5.393 -1.079 g= 4.314 g

weight of ore = (100/12)* 4.314 g  = 35.95 g

so , required weight of ore = 35.95 g/s * (10^6)* 3600 * 24 ton/day

                                            = 1.2942E+11 tons/day(ans)
