Daughter’s Third Person Point of View.

Every day in the afternoon, Nina always saw her mother sitting in the veranda watching the kids
walking across the streets from school. From time to time she would catch her smiling warming
at the kids and waving at them when they greeted her.

Nina leaned on the veranda and softly asked her. “You missed having kids around?”

It was evident that her mother wants another child. Sadly she was an only child and her father
wouldn’t want another one. Her father doted on her too much even though she’s already 15,
while her mother was the indifferent one.

“I’m getting old to have another one.” Her mother answered nonchalantly. “Besides your dad is
busy taking care of you. He wouldn’t have time for another kid.”

She frowned. Although her mother wouldn’t directly accuse her of taking all her father’s time
from herself, she was fully aware that her mother was acting jealous towards her, even though
her mother was not aware of it.

She knows that her parents both love each other. But the misunderstanding keeps filling up
because they don’t talk things out or clear things out right away.

“Mom, I think you should have a serious talk with Dad sometimes.” She hugged her mother’s
arm.

Her mother knotted her eyebrows. “I talk to him though.”

“Not that casual talk! I’ll make an opportunity for you guys to talk alone. And make sure to
enjoy your sweet time with each other alright?” She winked at her mother.

Her mother gave her a brief laugh and patted her head. “What naughty thoughts are running in
that tiny head of yours, huh?”
