which goods are transferred from one place to another to facilitate. For example to movement
goods from warehouse to consumer. An others example j&t. A lot of people use apps to buy
something online such as shoppe and shoope will store goods at warehouse and the shoppe will
send the goods by using j&t delivery service.

Movement of people (MOP). We have a lot of types transportations first public transport and
second we have private transport. By using transportation they can move people from a place where
they are to a place where they would rather be in the future. For example when using public
transport they can go where they want and save their money. Other than that while using private
they can feel more comfortable and they don’t need to wait for other people to go for another
place.

The concept of transportation as a delivered demand happen because the higher demand the higher
supply. In the context delivered demand refers to the demand for transportatins services that are
delivered from the demand for the goods that need to transported. If a company needs to transport
its products from its manufacturing facility to its retail outlets, then the company will have delivered
demand for transportations service form point A to point B. Through globalization and open
markets, customers can be easily connected and products can be introduced to them via transport.

-The bisiness activities that can be generated though the role of transportation by supplying
items or movement of goods and passengers from one place to another. If transport does
not exist there is no movement of activities.
- For example local people and goods as well as people and goods from outside of the
country.

2. Employment
- Before transport was widely available most of the employment sector focused on
agriculture and mining activities.
- Transport civilized human, in the way humans work and travel to their workplace.
- Traveling distances are made shoter now for employment opportunities.
- For example people nowdays can go to work in other country by using air
transportations.
3. Reduce Travelling Time
- Travelling time refers to the total journey time taken to travel from one point to
another.
- Travelling times have reduced drastically since the existence of highway. For example
roads nowadays are shorter than in the past due to the existence of highways.
- It would have been near to impossible to achieve the same travelling time for journeys
made on foot or animals as it was in the old days.

4. Generate Income
- Trasnportation planning must also take into account the growth of new residential
areas, new public infrastructure and populations growth and desity.
- The public transport systems mentioned have been utilized for over 100 per cent, solely
from movement of passengers in city centre.
- The systems need to further integrated comprehensively with a wider network in oder
to become the chosen mode of transportations for all.

5. Accessibility
- Limited road supply and provision of public transport had restricted people from moving
far away, this led to lack of exposure of surroundings, especially with regard to the
opportunity to expand.
- As example local product such as beauty product, rice and local product.

- People need to contact other community to establish social relationship and spread
their thought and ideas or fulfilling religious obligatory.

societies.

4 types of utility :-

1. Time utility
- An added economic value is created to goods or services by having it at a demand point
at a specific time.
- Time utility means not only must goods and services be available where consumers need
them but they must also be that point when customers demand them.

2. Place utility
- An added value is created by logistics functions where it moves form productions surplus
points to points where demand exists.
- For example moving oil plam oil and then channel to meet end wholesaler and retailer
to meet end user for consumptions.

3. Form utility
- It refers to the value added to goods though a manufacturing, productions or assembly
process.
- For example when bicycle of china and raw material or car.

4. Possesions
- Marketing activities related to the promotions of products or service, it will get contact
to customers if promotions do.
