FINAL REFLECTION

What I learned about the topic titled ‘’Slip – half method’ ’It also split-half
reliability, a test for a single knowledge area is split into two parts and then both
parts given to one group of students at the same time. A reliable test will have
high correlation, indicating that a student would perform equally well (or as
poorly) on both halves of the test. Split-half testing is a measure of internal
consistency — how well the test components contribute to the construct that’s
being measured.
I think as a student this really helps us knowledge the students gain from outside
experiences, The scores from both parts of the test are correlated better reflect
what is taught in class and fit better with the teaching methods they use.
As a future teacher, this table really helps in making tests and exams. It allows us
teachers to construct a test which focuses on the key areas and weights those
different areas based on their importance. It also provides us evidence that a test
has content validity, that it covers what should be covered
