Date November 8, 2022

1. This Office, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, shall hold the
Division Training-Workshop for School Paper Advisers on December 1-3, 2022 at
Mayapyap National High School, Mayapyap Norte, Cabanatuan City.

2. The said training-workshop aims to:

2.1. equip the School Paper Advisers (SPAs) with the writing skills in the
different individual writing categories of Campus Journalism; and
2.2. enhance the previously acquired skills of School Paper Advisers (SPAs)
in the production of school publication.
3. The participants are the designated School Paper Adviser/s and the
publication's English and Filipino critics.

4 The following are enclosed for reference and guidance.

4.1. Enclosure 1. Training Matrix
4.2. Enclosure 2. Technical Working Group / Committee Members
5. A1l participants shall pay a registration fee of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS
(P 250.00) to defray expenses for training materials, honoraria for speakers, and
other incidental costs chargeable against School MOOE or other local funds subject
to the usual accounting and auditing procedures. Payment of registration fee must

be settled at the SDO's Cash Unit not later than November 18, 2022 to facilitate the
advance preparation and procurement of materials needed in the training.

6. Service Credits for teaching personnel and Compensatory Time - Off (CTO) for
non-teaching personnel shall be granted in accordance with DepEd Order No.3, s.
2OO3 entitled "Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to
Teachers" and CSC-DBM Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2015 entitled "Policy Guidelines
on Overtime Services and Overtime Pay for Government Employees".

7 This Memorandum serves as the travel authority of all participants.
